Baseline Sensitivity and Control Efficacy of Various Group of Fungicides against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in Oilseed Rape Cultivation

چکیده
Sclerotinia stem rot (SSR), caused by sclerotiorum, is a devastating disease of oilseed rape that may cause significant yield losses if not controlled cultural management strategies and fungicide applications. Studies were conducted to evaluate the efficacy different group fungicides as well biopesticide, including azoxystrobin, boscalid, fludioxonil, prothioconazole, tebuconazole, azoxystrobin/tebuconazole, boscalid/pyraclostrobin, prothioconazole/fluopyram Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, on baseline sensitivity S. sclerotiorum isolates under in-vitro conditions control SSR in field. Artificial inoculation mist irrigation prompt reproducible infection cultivation. All compounds significantly reduced 36.7% 86.9% severity increased 55.2% 98.7% yield, 1.5% 7.0% thousand grain-weight, 5.9% oil 0.1% 1.3% protein content. Fludioxonil, boscalid/pyraclostrobin fluopyram/prothioconazole achieved strongest fungicidal activity against SSR. The biopesticide provided 36% control. Under vitro conditions, B. amyloliquefaciens only strongly inhibited mycelial growth but also formation sclerotia all concentrations. Boscalid fludioxonil exhibited highest level with mean EC50 values 1.23 1.60 ?g a.s. mL?1. variability between was observed towards prothioconazole azoxystrobin.

Engineering Sclerotinia Sclerotiorum Resistance in Oilseed Crops
The fungal pathogen Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary is worldwide in distribution and pathogenic to more than 400 plant species. This disease causes significant yield losses of various important crops including sunflower, canola, and soybean. Applying fungicides and crop rotation are currently the major methods of controlling this disease. However, fungicide chemicals are expensive, not ...

Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary is a broad range fungal pathogen which attacks more than 500 species of higher plants (Boland and Hall, 1994; Saharan and Mehta, 2008; Sharma et al.,, 2015a). The pathogen can cause serious losses in yield and quality on numerous important field and vegetable crops (Purdy, 1979). Stem rot of Indian mustard caused by S. sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary has beco...

متن کاملApplication of Hyperspectral Imaging to Detect Sclerotinia sclerotiorum on Oilseed Rape Stems
Hyperspectral imaging covering the spectral range of 384-1034 nm combined with chemometric methods was used to detect Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (SS) on oilseed rape stems by two sample sets (60 healthy and 60 infected stems for each set). Second derivative spectra and PCA loadings were used to select the optimal wavelengths. Discriminant models were built and compared to detect SS on oilseed rap...
